The project

An open specification — not a finished form of government.

Ethica should be testable in smaller parts, publicly criticised and changed before major power is moved. This portal is a prototype of how the open public-facing layer could work.

Open

Arguments, assumptions, architecture, sources and objections should be reviewable.

Federated

Shared standards and interfaces do not require centralised data or centralised power.

Self-correcting

The model must be able to show when it is wrong and contain paths to change or retire what does not work.

Principles for the web portal itself

1. Three-minute entry

A new visitor should understand the problem, the idea and its limits without prior knowledge.

2. Thirty-minute model

Someone who wants more depth should be able to follow the full argument without opening the main work.

3. Full verifiability

Sources, versions, objections, architecture and code should be independently reviewable.

4. No dark UX

No hidden value choices, manipulative defaults or artificial urgency in democratic flows.

ETHICA's official web domain

ethicademocracy.org

The domain is used for ETHICA's book, review and systems-specification portal. Trademark and rights questions are managed separately from the portal's technical publication.

Lars-Gunnar Johansson

Originator of ETHICA Democracy and author of the main work.

Lars-Gunnar Johansson works with systems architecture, cybersecurity and verifiability. His background includes international systems development in Sweden, Italy, Germany and China, as well as security and cloud architecture.

ETHICA is his attempt to treat democracy as a system that must formulate measurable goals, disclose the evidence behind decisions, follow real outcomes and correct interventions that do not work.

This background is the author's own disclosure. Biographical and professional information should not be read as independent accreditation or external endorsement.

AI is used as assistance. The human remains responsible for ideas and decisions.

Lars-Gunnar Johansson develops his ideas, texts and platforms with AI assistance for research structure, editing, translation, prototyping and code. Material is published only after human review and approval.

Human accountability

Problem framing, values, claims, final wording and publication decisions remain the author's responsibility.

Traceable assistance

AI may propose and synthesise, but it is not the author, decision-maker or independent verifier.

Professional development

The author also develops AI-assisted platforms and cybersecurity ecosystems for clients in defence, finance and insurance, automotive, telecoms, energy and other industries.

Ethica is intended to be challenged before it is trusted.

Useful collaboration spans constitutional law, political science, public administration, economics, security engineering, assurance, AI governance, accessibility and service design.

The public launch should make criticism first-class: reproducible objections, alternative models and evidence that contradicts Ethica belong in the specification rather than outside it.
